The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 is all set to commence on August 23 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. East Zone, North East Zone, West Zone, North Zone, Central Zone and South Zone are the six participating teams in the campaign.
Rajat Patidar will lead the Central Zone team, while Tilak Varma has been named captain of the South Zone squad. Ishan Kishan leads the East Zone squad, with Ruturaj Gaikwad named as West Zone captain. Kanhaiya Wadhawan has been appointed North Zone captain.
The Central Zone and the South Zone have qualified for the semi-final on the virtue of reaching the final of the last season.
