In the third group-stage match of the current Caribbean Premier League season between Antigua & Barbuda Falcons and Barbados Royals, Pakistan's star speedster Mohammad Amir lost his temper and yelled at his teammate, Imad Wasim, over a fielding error. Imad, who is renowned for having amazing all-around skills, gave the fast bowler a mouthful when he made a careless fielding attempt close to the boundary, frustrating Amir.

The incident happened in the 14th over of the Barbados Royals innings, after Quinton de Kock's spectacular knock had put them in the lead. In an attempt to make a breakthrough, Antigua captain Chris Green pulled Amir into the attack as the daring South African batter was tearing up the Falcons. De Kock, though, welcomed the seasoned pacer with a cheeky drive that cleared the bowler's head and into the boundary. De Kock played a deft upper cut towards the third man after Amir bowled a short ball outside the off stump.

 Imad Wasim strolls while fielding:

The ball travelled slower than anticipated due to the ground's slow outfield, even though he had timed it well, allowing Imad Wasim to save a boundary for his side. But the veteran player, who had earlier failed with the bat, did not appear to be committed to the squad, making a pitiful effort close to the ropes.

Imad continued to walk as the ball eventually broke through the fence, giving De Kock and the Royals four runs. Amir became enraged because of the bowler's subpar fielding attempt, as he was overheard yelling at him through the stump mic on the non-striker side. Playing in their debut CPL, the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons have yet to win a game in the competition. The Falcons were thrashed by nine wickets in a one-sided match against the Royals yesterday night, following close losses to St. Kitts and the Guyana Amazon Warriors. On September 4, they will play their next CPL match in Antigua against St Lucia Kings.
