Arjun Tendulkar gets engaged at the age of 25

The former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, the granddaughter of prominent Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai, according to reports published by Indian Today. 

Interestingly, the ceremony turned out to be a low-key affair with their close friends and family members attending the engagement ceremony. For the unversed, the Ghais are known in the hospitality and food industries. 

Surprisingly, there is no official statement from either family about the engagement yet. Also, Arjun’s Instagram handle doesn’t have any pictures of media about his engagement ceremony. It’s worth noting that Saaniya is a Designated Partner and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, based in Mumbai.

Interestingly, Arjun's last professional game came way back in December 2024 when he played against Manipur in a List A game. Notably, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians franchise at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction for the price of INR 30 Lakh. However, he didn't get to play any game for MI during the recently concluded season.

Arjun was also part of the Mumbai-based franchise in IPL 2023 and IPL 2024, scalping three wickets from five games and scoring 13 runs from one inning. While he played four games in IPL 2023, he could get only one match in IPL 2024.

Delving into the details of Arjun’s domestic cricketing career, the all-rounder represents Goa in domestic cricket. In 17 first-class games, he has pocketed 37 wickets and scored 532 runs, which includes a century and two half-centuries. 

Moving into the details of the white-ball formats, he played 18 List A games, racking up 25 wickets and accumulating 102 runs, with his best score being 26 runs and best bowling figures being 4/30. In T20s, he played 24 matches, picking up 27 wickets with the best figures being 4/10, while he scored 119 runs with the best of 47.
