“Suryakumar Yadav used to message me a lot” - Bollywood actress makes a stunning revelation

Bollywood actress Khushi Mukherjee, who also starred in the reality series MTV Splitsvilla, made a startling assertion regarding Suryakumar Yadav, the skipper of the Indian cricket team's T20I team.  

Suryakumar's most recent appearance for India was in the just finished Twenty20 International series against South Africa, where he helped the Men in Blue defeat the Proteas 3-1. In January 2026, he will lead the team in five T20Is against New Zealand. This series will act as a warm-up for both teams before the T20 World Cup, which is set to start on February 7. 

India, who defeated South Africa in the final to win the T20 World Cup in Barbados in 2024, would go into the competition as the reigning champions.

Khushi said at a recent event that although Suryakumar used to message her often in the past, they are no longer in contact. When asked by a reporter whether she wanted to date any cricketer, Khushi replied that she does not like link-ups.

"I don't want to date any cricketer. There are so many cricketers after me. Suryakumar Yadav used to message me a lot. Now we don't talk much, and I don't even want to be associated. I don't like any link-ups involving me," she said in a video posted by Kiddaan Entertainment.

On the other hand, On Vaikuntha Ekadashi, Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha Shetty visited and prayed at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. 

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) administrators organized their darshan and made it easier for them to visit the hilltop temple as they prayed to Lord Venkateswara and went through the Vaikuntha Dwaram (celestial gate). 

Both devotees and temple employees welcomed them with open arms. They performed the ceremonies in a humble manner while dressed traditionally, demonstrating the close cultural and spiritual ties that many Indian athletes maintain despite their hectic work schedules.

The priests blessed them in the temple's Ranganayakulavari Mandapam after the darshan. Then they delivered the Lord's garments and offered the Tirtha Prasadam.
