Mohammed Shami of India received a score of 5/53. India won handily when Shubman Gill responded with a score of 101*.
The Men in Green were limited to 241 runs against Pakistan by the two wickets of Hardik Pandya and the three wickets of Kuldeep Yadav. India won by six wickets and advanced to the semi-finals as Virat Kohli replied by smashing his 51st ODI century.
South Africa in ICC Champions Trophy 2025:
South Africa began their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 tournament against Afghanistan at the National Stadium in Karachi on February 21. South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. Thanks to Ryan Rickelton’s 103 and fifties by Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram, South Africa posted 315/6 in 50 overs.
In reply, Rahmat Shah with 90 runs was the lone warrior for Afghanistan as they were bundled out for 208 runs. Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets, while Lungi Ngidi and Wiaan Mulder took 2 wickets.
