After only sixteen games, the Afghan Atalan will be happy to have won their tenth ODI since the beginning of 2024. Following their recent T20I setbacks, they will be particularly happy with the outcome. While Afghanistan's lethal spin assault has been as strong as ever with the ball, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, and Azmatullah Omarzai have been outstanding hitters.
The Tigers have been struggling, and after losing their eleventh game since the beginning of the previous season, their batting issues have surfaced once more. Since players aren't turning their starts into significant runs, they need more hitters to step up and score more runs. They also need more help for Taskin Ahmed, who appears to be playing alone with the ball.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium Pitch Report:
In general, bowlers are favoured at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium, where pacers get some movement early on. Bowlers are able to move the ball with ease and try to worry the opponent by taking a few early wickets. In the meantime, batters must exercise caution and refrain from making careless shots that can result in cheap dismissals.
