India won the first title under Shafali Verma, and this time the Girls in Blue will be led by Niki Prasad. The second edition of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup will begin in Malaysia on January 18, 2025, with 16 teams from around the world competing in 41 matches with the future stars of women’s cricket announcing themselves over 15 days of competition from 18 January to 2 February 2025.
Group B includes England, the runners-up from the previous competition. In the league stage, they will face the United States, Pakistan, and Ireland. On January 18, the excitement starts with six matches. Pakistan faces the USA in Group B, while England faces Ireland in Johor. The Group C matches in Sarawak pit New Zealand against South Africa and Samoa against Nigeria. Australia will play Scotland in Group D, while Bangladesh will play Nepal at the UKM YSD Oval in Selangor.
ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 Teams and Groups:

Group B: England, Ireland, Pakistan, United States
Group C: New Zealand, Nigeria, Samoa, South Africa
Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Scotland
The top three teams move on to the Super Six stage after each team faces off against its group counterparts once. Points scored against eligible teams during the first round will be carried over to the following round. Each Super Six group's top two teams will then guarantee their spots in the semifinals. February 2 is the date of the 2025 U19 Women's T20 World Cup final.
