Imad Wasim’s ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq reveals she was threatened after divorcing Pakistani cricketer

Following his public announcement of his divorce from Sannia Ashfaq, Imad Wasim is experiencing severe problems in his family life.  

But in a startling turn of events, Ashfaq has accused Wasim of adultery and said she is being intimidated to keep the truth about their falling out a secret.

The pair, who have been married since 2019 and have three kids, have admitted that their marriage has failed.  What started out as gossip has now developed into a very private and well-publicized conflict.

Sannia Ashfaq discussed the suffering she claims to have experienced in a strongly written social media post. She said her children were being denied their father's presence and that her house had been damaged.  

Even their five-month-old infant had not yet been held by Imad, Sannia added in one of the most poignant passages of her statement.

As a wife and a mother, Sannia claimed she had made numerous attempts to keep the marriage intact, but things got worse when, in her opinion, a third person entered their marriage.

She claimed that this resulted in severe treatment and mental strain, and she had remained silent for the sake of her children and the dignity of her family.  

Ashfaq, however, said that she would no longer keep quiet and would take the issue to court, citing documentary evidence. Sannia also said that if she made documents public, she would face threats.

“I am writing this from a place of deep pain. My home has been broken, and my children have been left without their father. I am a mother of three, including a five-month-old infant who has yet to be held by his father. This is not a story I wished to share, but silence should never be mistaken for weakness," she wrote on Instagram.

“Like many marriages, ours had difficulties, yet it continued to exist. I remained committed as a wife and mother and made sincere efforts to preserve our family. What ultimately ended this marriage was the involvement of a third party, whose intention was to marry my husband, which became the final blow to an already struggling union," Sannia added.

It has been reported that the aforementioned third party is Naila Raja. After a video from London that connected Imad Wasim to influencer Naila Raja went viral, rumors of an alleged affair involving the cricket player grew.  

Naila, however, has openly denied having a relationship and called the accusations damaging and unfounded. Imad has not responded to the specific rumors, requesting privacy while his legal marital problems are being handled.
