In Sunday's Group A encounter of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, India and Pakistan will rekindle their rivalry at the Dubai International Stadium. India had already defeated Pakistan in the Champions Trophy group stage at the same location, thus this will be the second meeting in the rivalry this year. Additionally, this will be the first meeting between the two teams since the April Pahalgam terror assault, which worsened the geopolitical situation by triggering a military confrontation between the two countries.

India won the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year when the two teams played at the same location in Dubai. Security has been scaled appropriately, though, because the families impacted by the Pahalgam incident have made the fixture politically sensitive. For everyone attending the match, the ESC and Dubai Police have released a clear set of instructions.

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Match 2025 Guidelines:

Notably, fans are asked to arrive at least three hours before kickoff, provide genuine tickets, park in designated spots, and only enter the stadium once per ticket; it is not permitted to park ad hoc or to block neighbouring roadways. In order to lessen traffic and expedite security screening, these actions are a component of a coordinated venue and traffic plan.

Clear sanctions for violators were also specified in the Federal Law on the Security of Sports Facilities and Events. One to three months in jail and a hefty fine of between Dh5,000 and Dh30,000 (INR 1.2 lakhs to 7.2 lakhs) could be imposed for entering the field without permission or for carrying prohibited items (fireworks, flammable substances, lasers, umbrellas, large cameras, selfie sticks, sharp objects, toxic substances, flags, banners, pets, remote-controlled devices, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and anything made of glass). Using racist or abusive words, throwing objects, or engaging in violent behaviour might result in fines of up to Dh30,000 and possibly jail time.

According to officials, the precautions are meant to protect players, spectators, and employees while maintaining a secure atmosphere for the intense game. The ESC requested fans to be at the stadium at least three hours before kickoff, bring legitimate tickets, and refrain from parking in prohibited zones or blocking roads close to the stadium.
