Royal Challengers Bengaluru enter the Indian Premier League 2025 in a hunt for the elusive silverware for which they have been bidding for 17 years now.

RCB talisman Kohli is a proven match-winner in all formats. As RCB began their quest for a title, Kohli was key in providing Bengaluru with strong starts and holding the fort as and when required.

Kohli is in good touch in the Champions Trophy, where he was India's second-highest run-scorer with 218 runs in five innings with a hundred and a fifty. Kohli was also the orange cap winner in IPL 2024 and would like to make it big again as he is one of the biggest match-winners ever seen.

3 - Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Star swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will also be a key player for RCB in IPL 2025. The unforgiving conditions at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium require high-discipline bowling, which Bhuvneshwar is extremely good at.

As Josh Hazlewood recently had an injury break, the Indian speedster will be crucial. Bhuvneshwar has taken 181 wickets in 176 matches in IPL and is another proven performer. He is the only player in IPL history to have won the purple cap twice in a row with his success coming in 2016 and 2017. Bhuvneshwar will need to replicate his success for RCB now.
