IPL 2025: Best XI of Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Punjab Kings dominated IPL 2025 and finished the league stage of the tournament at the top. They played an attacking game of cricket and reached the finals after 10 10-year of waiting. A complete team effort took them to the finals. Let’s take a look at what their best playing XI might look like.

Openers: Prabhsimran Singh & Priyansh Arya

Punjab had the most destructive and attacking openers among all teams for the IPL 2025. In one of the rare instances, both players almost scored more than 500 runs each, with the strike rate of 179 and 160 for Priyansh and Prabhsimran, respectively.

Middle Order: Josh Inglis, Shreyas Iyer & Nehal Wadhera

One of the most consistent and aggressive middle orders this season, Inglis, Iyer and Wadhera were astonishing. They smashed 278, 604 and 369 runs with a strike rate of 162.57, 175 and 145.84, respectively. Consistency met with the brisk pace of scoring brought success for the team.

Finishers: Shashank Singh & Marcus Stoinis

Shashank continued where he left off in 2024 and had another fantastic season. He finished with 350 runs with a strike rate of 153.50. Marcus Stoinis did not start the season too well, but he did finish off in a great manner, scoring 160 runs at a strike rate of 186.

Spinners: Harpreet Brar & Yuzvendra Chahal

While Harpreet Brar brought immense control, Chahal was the one with all the wickets. Brar bowled with an economy of 8.63 and scalped 10 wickets in eight games, while Chahal got 16 wickets from 14 matches. Brar could also contribute with the bat.

Pacers: Marco Jansen & Arshdeep Singh

The two left-arm pacers any T20 would dream to have, Jansen and Arshdeep, were sensational with the ball. While Jansen scalped 16 with an economy of 9.20, Arshdeep brought in 21 wickets with an economy of 8.88. Jansen can also swing his bat well when needed.
