It was all Shreyas Iyer galore in Qualifier 2 as he made his presence felt to each and every viewer and player out there. A true leader, leading from the front with his unbeaten knock of 87 off just 41 balls, snatched the game away from Mumbai. Another point in Punjab’s favour, their bowling was brilliant tonight as they kept pegging at frequent intervals and did not let Mumbai run away with the match.
Mumbai was sent to bat, and they did not start the way they would have wished. They did get some decent runs in the middle, but could not finish to what they were expecting and were restricted fro 203. Punjab batters kept attacking right from the start and did not let Mumbai make a comeback. Shreyas played one of the finest knocks of the season and took his team to the finals by five wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav added some more runs to cement his second place, and with just one more game to go, the Orange Cap will mostly remain with Sai Sudharsan, who has been holding it for the majority of the season.
