Rajasthan sent Chennai to bat first in their encounter, and as it so happens, they had a terrible start. However, first Mhatre and then Brevis played some good knocks to take the team to 187, but it was not enough on this pitch. Rajasthan started well, although they lost some wickets towards the end, but they were able to keep their calm this time around and eventually won by six wickets.
After having failed in so many chases, Rajasthan was finally able to conquer a chase successfully this time. And taking a lesson from their previous games, Jurel did not take the game to the last over and playing an aggressive knock, he finished the game much earlier. Fourth win of the season for Rajasthan meant they will not finish bottom of the table, even though Chennai is still left with one more game, as Rajasthan has a much better net run-rate.
