In the run-fest match between Punjab and Rajasthan, Punjab batted first and struggled with early wickets. The team reached 219 thanks to outstanding performances from Nehal Wadhera and Shashank Singh. Even though Jurel played well down the order, Rajasthan's openers had a fantastic start, but after they were out of the game, they never looked like they could chase. They ultimately lost by ten runs.
Second game of the day was played between Gujarat and Delhi where Delhi was batting first and Rahul played a classy knock of 112 without getting dismissed to take the team’s total to 199. A competitive total from Delhi turned out to be a mediocre total for Gujarat as they did not even break a sweat. Sai and Gill were sensational as they led the team to a victory by 10 wickets.
