GT vs SRH Match 51

With a loss against the Rajasthan Royals in the previous game, the Gujarat Titans have now returned to their winning ways as they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad comfortably by 38 runs on Friday at Ahmedabad. Abhishek Sharma did put up a fighting knock of 74 off 41 deliveries, but he seemed to be fighting a lone battle and did not receive much support from the other end.

Previously, as usual, the top order of the Titans scored the bulk of the runs, with almost all three of them scoring half-centuries each. With this, Gujarat registered their seventh win of the season and moved back to the second spot in the points table while Mumbai continues to enjoy their top spot. However, they have played an extra match and have a better net run-rate.
