IPL 2025: When is CSK’s Next Match? All you need to know about their Opponent, Probable XI, & head-to-head stats

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are gearing up to wrap their frustrating IPL 2025 campaign as they will face the current table toppers, Gujarat Titans (GT), on 25 May at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. After their loss in the last game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Delhi, CSK remained at 10th place with six points in 13 games, with a net run rate of -1.030.

Meanwhile, GT are in the top spot with 18 points in 12 games, with a net run rate of +0.795. Hence, for CSK, they would like to end the season with a win for their fans. While for GT, a win might ensure them finishing within the top two spots and Qualifier One.

Match details

Fixture: Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings
Date & Time: May 25, 2025, 3:30 PM IST
Venue: Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

CSK Probable XI

Ayush Mhatre, Devon Conway, Urvil Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Dewald Brevis, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, Noor Ahmad, Anshul Kamboj, Khaleel Ahmed.

Ayush Mhatre has been impressive so far, and he is expected to continue in this upcoming clash also. Even in the last game vs RR, it was only him among all the top-order batters who played a blistering knock. Both Devon Conway and Urvil Patel are expected to get another chance.

Then, their star all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, should come in at number four, and following him, the South African youngster, Dewald Brevis, should be there. Brevis has also been tremendous with the bat and, obviously, in the field.

Shivam Dube will be there along with the skipper, MS Dhoni. Two spin-bowling options will be Ashwin and Noor. Two pacers will be Anshul Kamboj and Khaleel Ahmed. Vijay Shankar or Deepak Hooda are expected to be the impact substitutes.
