Gujarat Titans (GT) lost their last game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 33 runs in Ahmedabad. Still, they remain at the top of the points table with 18 points from 13 matches and a net run rate of +0.602.

GT will now aim to win their final league game. A victory will take them to 20 points and give them a better chance of finishing in the top two. That might secure a spot in Qualifier 1 and give them two chances to reach the final.

Their next match is against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 25 May in Ahmedabad. CSK are already out of the playoff race. They are in 10th place with just six points from 13 games and a net run rate of -1.030.

Shubman Gill (capt), Jos Buttler (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, M Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Arshad Khan, Kagiso Rabada, R Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna.

GT are expected to stick with their successful opening pair—captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Sudharsan is likely to be used as the impact substitute again.

Jos Buttler will also play in this match. However, it will be his last appearance for GT this season as he will return to England for international duty and miss the playoffs. Sherfane Rutherford will continue in the middle order. After him, M Shahrukh Khan is set to bat at number five. Both players did well with the bat in GT’s last game against LSG.

Rahul Tewatia will be given the finisher’s role once again. He will be joined by Afghan all-rounder Rashid Khan, who adds value with both bat and ball. The pace attack will include Arshad Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna. For spin, GT will rely on Rashid and Sai Kishore.
