Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are still in contention for the playoffs in the ongoing IPL 2025, but their chances are quite slim. The same playing XI from the last game is expected to take the field. Though KKR might be tempted to play Moeen Ali, dropping Rovman Powell just after one game would be a little harsh. 

The same goes for Chetan Sakariya, who was handed a KKR debut against PBKS. Although he did not look good, still, dropping any player just after one game shows the desperation of a team.
