Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) suffered a two-wicket defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Kolkata in their last game, and with that loss, their playoff chances in the ongoing IPL 2025 are almost over. 

KKR are currently in sixth place with 11 points from 12 games and a net run rate of +0.193. Their next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Hyderabad on 10 May. SRH are in eighth position with seven points from 11 games and a net run rate of -1.192.

KKR Probable XI 

Sunil Narine, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Ajinkya Rahane (capt), Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Manish Pandey, Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Ramandeep Singh, Moeen Ali, Vaibhav Arora, Varun Chakravarthy.

The defending champions are likely to stick with the same playing XI from their last game against CSK. Sunil Narine and Rahmanullah Gurbaz are expected to open the innings, with skipper Ajinkya Rahane batting at number three. 

Angkrish Raghuvanshi is set to play in the middle order alongside veteran Manish Pandey. Manish featured in the last match as a replacement for the injured Venkatesh Iyer, who had stitches in his hand. Once again, the responsibility of finishing the innings will be on Rinku Singh and Andre Russell.

Although Ramandeep Singh has struggled so far, he is still expected to get another chance against SRH. Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakravarthy will lead the pace attack along with all-rounder Moeen Ali. The spin trio of Moeen, Narine, and Varun will be crucial to their chances. Harshit Rana is likely to come in as the impact substitute.
