After a promising start with a win against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at home in Hyderabad, they suffered back-to-back defeats against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals (DC) in Visakhapatnam. 

With just two points from three matches, they currently sit in eighth place on the points table with a net run rate of -0.871. One of the key concerns for SRH has been their inconsistent top order, which has failed to provide solid starts.
