MI are expected to go with the same opening pair of Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma. This will be Rickelton’s last game of the season, as he won’t be available for the playoffs.
Rickelton will join the South Africa squad, which is set to play in the World Test Championship 2025 (WTC 2025) final at Lord’s, England, from 11 to 15 June. Like Rickelton, Will Jacks will also play his last game before leaving the tournament for international duty.
Suryakumar Yadav has been the most consistent player, and he is expected to continue his good form. After him, Tilak Varma and skipper Hardik Pandya will follow.
