IPL 2025: When is PBKS’ Next Match?

Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 10 runs in their last game. With that win, they moved to third place with 17 points from 12 games and a net run rate of +0.389. Following Gujarat Titans’ win over Delhi Capitals (DC), PBKS have officially qualified for the playoffs.

Now, their aim will be to maintain the momentum by winning their remaining two league-stage games. Their next clash is against DC in Jaipur. DC are still in playoff contention and are currently in fifth place with 13 points from 12 games and a net run rate of +0.260.

Match details

Fixture: Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings
Date & Time: May 24, 2025, 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

PBKS Probable XI

Prabhsimran Singh (wk), Priyansh Arya, Shreyas Iyer (capt), Mitchell Owen, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Azmatullah Omarzai, Marco Jansen, Xavier Bartlett, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal.

The young opening pair of Prabhsimran and Priyansh will be expected to shine once again, as they have produced some outstanding contributions at the top of the order throughout the season so far.

Captain Shreyas Iyer will come in at number three, and following him, their new recruit Mitchell Owen might get another chance despite a two-ball duck on his IPL debut in the previous game. It will be harsh on him if he doesn't get another opportunity. Nehal Wadhera and Shashank Singh batted brilliantly in the last game, and they will be expected to deliver again.

Azmatullah Omarzai also shone with both bat and ball, and PBKS fans would love to see him contribute in the same way as he did in the last match. The three pacers will be Jansen, Bartlett, and Arshdeep.

Yuzvendra Chahal will be the lead spinner, along with Harpreet Brar, who is expected to come in as an impact substitute. Brar also earned the Player of the Match award in the last game for his three-wicket haul.
