Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to play Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final of the IPL 2025. They defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by five wickets in Qualifier 2 by successfully chasing the 204-run target.

The last time they played an IPL final was in 2014, but they unfortunately lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Now, after 11 years, they have another chance to lift their maiden IPL title—this time against a team (RCB) who are also looking for their first-ever title.

Priyansh Arya, Josh Inglis (wk), Shreyas Iyer (capt), Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Marcus Stoinis, Azmatullah Omarzai, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Kyle Jamieson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh.

Prabhsimran Singh will be the impact substitute for PBKS, as he and Priyansh Arya will open the innings. At number three, the Aussie wicketkeeper-batter, Josh Inglis, has shown attacking intent, and that has paid off in the last few games. Hence, he is expected to shine once again. 

Following him, the captain, Shreyas Iyer, will come out to bat. He is coming off a match-winning, unbeaten knock in Qualifier 2 against MI. Nehal Wadhera was excellent with the way he played in the last game and stitched a crucial partnership in that successful chase. 

Shashank Singh, Marcus Stoinis, and Azmatullah Omarzai will be given the responsibility to add quick runs lower down the order. The three pace bowling options will be Vyshak, Jamieson, and Arshdeep. Yuzvendra Chahal made a comeback in the last game, and he is expected to play a huge role in the final.
