IPL 2025: When is SRH’s Next Match?

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are finally finding some rhythm in IPL 2025, having secured back-to-back wins. In their previous outing, they defeated the already playoff-qualified Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 42 runs in Lucknow.

Despite being out of playoff contention, SRH have moved to the eighth spot on the points table with 11 points from 13 matches and a net run rate of -0.737. SRH fans will be hoping the team can maintain this momentum and end their campaign on a high with a third consecutive victory.

Their final match of the season is scheduled for May 25 in Delhi, where they will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The defending champions, KKR, have struggled this season and failed to qualify for the playoffs. With 12 points from 13 games and a net run rate of +0.193, they currently sit in seventh place.

Match details

Fixture: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Date & Time: May 25, 2025, 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

SRH Probable XI

Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (wk), Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Aniket Verma, Abhinav Manohar, Pat Cummins (capt), Harshal Patel, Eshan Malinga, Jaydev Unadkat.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are set to continue as SRH’s opening pair. At No. 3, Ishan Kishan will walk in — fresh off a match-winning unbeaten 94 off just 48 balls in the previous game. All-rounder Nitish Reddy is expected to follow him, with Heinrich Klaasen taking the next spot in the batting order.

SRH have shown consistent trust in Aniket Verma and Abhinav Manohar throughout the season, and they are likely to retain their places for this final match of the campaign.

Captain Pat Cummins will lead the pace attack, supported by Harshal Patel, Eshan Malinga, and Jaydev Unadkat. Malinga impressed with his death-over bowling in the last match, and fans will hope he continues that form to help SRH finish the season on a high.

Considering the pitch conditions in Lucknow, Harsh Dubey is expected to be the impact substitute, adding spin depth to the side.
