“Pakistan will win” - Moeen Ali reveals his winner in INDvPAK clash

Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali has predicted Pakistan to come out on top against India in the marquee clash in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, on Sunday, February 15, in Colombo.

Speaking exclusively on Mr. Cricket UAE Podcast, Moeen Ali asserted that Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq are the two bowlers India should be the most worried about in the much-anticipated clash.

"From Pakistan's side, I think Abrar Ahmed is someone India should really be aware of. He has the ability to trouble batters. I'd also mention Usman Tariq because he's very deceptive, and India hasn't faced him much, which makes him dangerous,” Moeen Ali said.

Furthermore, the former all-rounder reckoned Kuldeep Yadav would pose a big threat to the Pakistan team in the major clash. Moreover, he also predicted India, South Africa, England and Pakistan as his semi-finalists with India and Pakistan making it to the final.

"For India, I'd definitely want Kuldeep Yadav to play. He'll be the bigger threat than any other Indian bowler for Pakistan," he said.

"Normally, I must say India could win all time against Pakistan honestly, like I say for the first time Pakistan will win,” he added.

"My four semifinalists are India, South Africa, England, and Pakistan. I also feel the final could be India vs Pakistan, and I'll give my final winner prediction when that match happens,” he concluuded. 

India is currently holding the pole position in the Group A points table with two consecutive wins against the USA and Namibia. Meanwhile, Pakistan is occupying the second rank with two consecutive victories against the Netherlands and the USA.
