RCB now has two powerful finishers in their squad: Ex-Indian cricketer

Former India cricketer Saba Karim has stated that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has one of the most feared finishing combinations in the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL 2026) season.

Speaking exclusively on JioStar, Karim has asserted that RCB has two top-class finishers in Nadine de Klerk and Richa Ghosh in the middle-order, adding that their presence will create fear in the minds of the opposition bowlers.

"With Nadine de Klerk and Richa Ghosh in the middle order, RCB now has two powerful finishers in their squad. The presence of both of them will create fear in the minds of other teams' bowlers. Both players give the belief that they can come and win a match even in difficult situations. Opposition bowlers will have a tough time bowling against this batting pair of Richa and de Klerk," JioStar expert Saba Karim said.

Notably, Richa has featured in 26 matches in WPL, accumulating 625 runs, including eight half-centuries. On the other hand, Nadine de Klerk has emerged as one of the finishers and all-rounders for her national side of late, scoring 667 runs and scalping 52 wickets in T20Is.

Furthermore, Karim also talked about RCB's new overseas signing Lauren Bell, asserting that the experienced England pacer could play a pivotal role for the franchise in the upcoming season. Bell has 50 wickets in 36 T20I games for her national team.

"Lauren Bell is a very good buy for RCB. They needed an experienced overseas pace bowler. Now they have a bowler in the form of Lauren Bell, who knows how to perform under pressure. She also understands Indian conditions and had a fantastic Women's ODI World Cup. Overall, she will be a great buy for them," Karim said.
