A woman has allegedly accused Indian bowler Yash Dayal of mental, emotional, and physical abuse under the guise of marriage against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The CM's office requested a formal report from the Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram after the woman filed her complaint via the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's website, IGRS, according to an India Today story. According to reports, the Ghaziabad police have been given until July 21 to take action.
The woman, who allegedly dated the 27-year-old cricket player for five years, has accused Dayal of deceiving her by promising to marry her. She claimed to have been physically, psychologically, and emotionally abused in her statement that was included in the First Information Report (FIR). She claimed that Dayal forced her to fully trust him by introducing her to his family and posing as his prospective wife. The woman stated that no meaningful action was taken at the police station level despite having first filed her complaint on June 14. She sought justice in the Chief Minister's office when her lawsuit failed to make any forward.

A woman from Ghaziabad filed an FIR on 14 June 2025, accusing RCB fast bowler Yash Dayal:

Subject to emotional, mental, physical and financial misconduct#yeshDayalpic.twitter.com/BLquYWIe4J
But when the unidentified woman challenged Yash Dayal, she was allegedly subjected to physical assault and ongoing psychological abuse. Additionally, the complaint claims that throughout their relationship, Dayal often borrowed money from her and never paid it back. According to India Today, she also accused him of having previously engaged in similar exploitative relationships with other women.
The woman has provided evidence, such as screenshots, video call recordings, chat logs, and photos, to back up her claims. On June 14, 2025, she first called the Women's Helpline (181), but she said that at the police station level, no real progress was accomplished. She brought the issue up with the Chief Minister's office when nothing changed. The Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram has now been asked to provide a report to the Chief Minister's office, and the police have been given until July 21 to finish their investigation.
