Mrunal Thakur is one of a handful of actresses who have successfully transitioned from TV to the big screen. She appeared on popular shows like ‘Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya.’

She made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film ‘Love Sonia’ and later marked her Telugu debut with the 2022 hit ‘Sita Ramam.’ The Telugu movie became a huge blockbuster and made Mrunal a household name and an actress to be taken seriously.

During the promotion of her movie with Shahid Kapoor, ‘Jersey,’ Mrunal had revealed that she had a huge crush on Virat Kohli when she was younger and was madly in love with the ex-India captain.

Back in 2021, in a chat with Bombay Times, Mrunal revealed a teenage crush she once had on cricketer Virat Kohli.

She said, “There was a time when I was madly in love with Virat Kohli. I started liking cricket because of my brother, who’s a big fan. I have fond memories of watching a match live at a stadium with him around five years ago. I remember I was wearing a blue jersey and cheering for team India. Cut to today, I am part of a cricket-based film like Jersey. It is such a happy coincidence.”

Mrunal Thakur was recently seen in Ajay Devgn's starrer Son of Sardar 2.
