Former Indian cricketer Kris Srikkanth has brutally roasted the Pakistan team, led by Salman Ali Agha, for their poor show against the Indian team in the group stage on Sunday, September 14, in Dubai.
Speaking exclusively on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth stated that Pakistan shouldn’t be playing against the full-member teams and instead be demoted to play against the associate nations.
"Going forward, Pakistan shouldn't be playing with the main teams. Have them among the Associate nations and bring a few of the others there here. It's a big thing for Pakistan that they are even allowed to play in such a prestigious tournament," said Srikkanth.
Moreover, he felt that Pakistan should be removed from the top seven teams at the moment and added that India vs Pakistan clashes will no longer attract crowds. He also asserted that the current Pakistani teams look like a seventh division team in a Chennai league.
"Pakistan should be removed from the top seven. From hereon, India-Pakistan matches won't attract crowds. India-Pakistan rivalry has become history. This Pakistan team will give us no scare. This is a seventh division team in a Chennai league," said Srikkanth.
Furthermore, Srikkanth also slammed the Pakistan head coach, Mike Hesson, for his comments in the press conference. He also claimed that the Pakistan team will go nowhere with Mike Hesson being the head coach of the side.
"Mike Hesson will be back with his statements on how they are a very good team and they were unlucky in the last match against India. You'll go nowhere with Mike Hesson as your coach," Srikkanth concluded.
