Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the Indian batting sensation, was scheduled to take his class 10 board examinations, and a picture of his admit card was doing the rounds on social media.

According to rumors, the 14-year-old Indian hitter will not be taking his examinations this year since his cricket dedication has prevented him from studying.

Due to a demanding schedule of training, camps, and competitions, Vaibhav, who dazzled with his exceptional batting in the U-19 World Cup, has chosen to skip his Class 10 board exams. Vaibhav goes to Modesty School and lives in Tajpur, Bihar. Exams were scheduled for him from February 17 to March 11.

Suryavanshi decided to put his academics on hold while the Indian Premier League 2026 gets underway in March. His outward exploits at his age have been a revelation in the Indian cricket circuit. The choice was also influenced by security concerns at the chosen testing location.

“Around 2000-3000 people gather to see Suryavanshi wherever he goes. He is one of the most favourite cricketers of the country today. We are thinking of alternate arrangements for him so that he could sit his exams later," former BCA president Rakesh Tiwari was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

The director of Suryavanshi's school, Modesty School in Tajpur, Adarsh Kumar Pintu, attested that all procedures had been finished on the school's end and that Podar International School in his hometown will serve as the testing location.

After discussions with Suryavanshi's father, it emerged that due to his busy schedule, he will not be able to appear in the examination this year. Currently, Suryavanshi is completely focused on cricket and is busy preparing for upcoming tournaments,” he said as per NDTV.

In addition to helping India win the U19 World Cup, Sooryavanshi will play for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2026 Indian Premier League.

With 439 runs in seven games, a stellar average of 62.71, and a strike rate of 169.49, including a hundred, three fifties, and a peak score of 175 runs, Sooryavanshi finished the U19 World Cup as the second-highest scorer. During this tournament, he hit 30 sixes, creating a new world record..

With 1,412 runs in 25 innings at an incredible average of 56.48 and a strike rate exceeding 165, he is India's top scorer in U19 one-day cricket. With a peak score of 175, Sooryavanshi has achieved four hundreds and seven fifties.
