Former South African cricketer and commentator Shaun Pollock made a massive blunder while he was on air on the first day of the Pakistan vs South Africa, first Test at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, October 12.

In the 39th over of Pakistan’s first innings, while Pakistan skipper Shan Masood was batting on 62, the crowd could be seen cheering heavily for the former skipper Babar Azam to come out to the crease.

Talking about the loud cheers on air, Pollock, who was in the commentary box, stated it he couldn’t believe that the crowd wanted Shan Masood, “Captain of India”, to be out just to get Babar to the crease.

“I can't believe they would want Shan Masood, the captain of India, to be out just to get Babar to the crease. Think we need to have a word with these supporters,” said Shaun Pollock on air, surprising many.
