The Indian top-order hitter Shubman Gill was recently seen working out hard in the gym in preparation for the September 19, 2024, start of the Test series against Bangladesh. The sixteen-man team for the first Test, of which Gill was undoubtedly a member, was recently announced by the Indian Board of Control for Cricket.

After losing as India A's captain in the first round of the Duleep Trophy, Gill appeared to be trying to find a constructive way to deal with his disappointment by working out hard. Using a few specialised gym trainers, he worked out his shoulders, legs, and core. The video of Shubman Gill quickly went viral on the internet.

Shubman Gill in hardcore prep mode:

Gill seemed as though he was always prepared to push himself physically during intense workouts at the state-of-the-art gym. With an emphasis on his agility, he was also observed executing a series of plyometric exercises, executing the routine with the same carefree demeanour as his elegant drives. Fans went gaga seeing the viral video of Shubman's intense workout.

The 25-year-old, who turned 25 four days ago, hopes to improve his batting for the Border-Gavaskar series later in the year by using the series against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Shubman Gill has a huge fan base on social media. He enjoys a massive female following on his official social media handle. His fans got a treat as the video of Shubman was dropped on the internet.

Gill had publicly acknowledged just a week prior that, as a Test player, he had fallen short of his own expectations. Gill's five home Test matches will be ideal preparation for the lucrative series in Australia, where he hopes to demonstrate his technical proficiency in a variety of environments.
