On Day 5 of the third Test match between Australia and India, a young Indian fan from the stands at The Gabba made a really amusing impersonation following Travis Head's departure. The amusing occurrence happened during Australia's second innings when Rishabh Pant caught the batter after he was bowled with a top edge.

Siraj ended Travis Head's innings with a superb delivery, making him look threatening despite his aggressive batting approach. Indian fans were relieved and celebrated the wicket, but one young fan lost his composure. In the current series, this was the second time Mohammed Siraj defeated the talismanic southpaw. The young boy was one of the handful who was joyfully cheering Head's ejection from the stands as the cameras focused on him after the catch was completed. The child was ecstatic about the wicket and even imitated the farewell that Siraj had given Head at the pink-ball Test earlier this month.

Mohammed Siraj dismisses Travis Head:

Upon Head's return to the pavilion, the cameras shifted to the stands, where a fervent young fan enthusiastically waved the Australian batter off. At the end of Day 4, India was spared a follow-on by both Jasprit Bumrah and Akashdeep. When Australia came in to play, India wreaked havoc and destroyed seven Australian batsmen before declaring on 89. On Day 5, India's innings was now piled up at 260.

The International Cricket Council fined Siraj 20% (INR 8,95,340) of his match costs as a result of his flaming celebration. The regulating committee also fined him one penalty point. The home team won by 10 wickets in the day-night Test match at the Adelaide Oval. However, Head received criticism following his conviction for violating Article 2.13 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Staff.
