According to sources who spoke to NDTV, Arjun Tendulkar, a cricketer with the Mumbai Indians and the son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, became engaged to Saaniya Chandok on Wednesday. When word spread that the young cricket player had taken a significant step in his personal life, social media went into overdrive.

They have been engaged in a private family and close-friends-only function this week, according to multiple media reports. However, the families of Saaniya Chandok and Arjun Tendulkar have not yet issued an official statement.

Saaniya is the granddaughter of Graviss Group leader Ravi Ghai. The Graviss Group works in the food & beverage and hotel sectors. The Brooklyn Creamery, Kwality ice cream, and the InterContinental Hotel are all owned by the Ghai family.

Saaniya herself is a businesswoman. She is the director of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, a high-end pet grooming and retail firm based in Mumbai, which caters to pet owners seeking the best for their furry companions. According to a company Instagram post, Saaniya is not only a director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa but also the company's founder. She attended and graduated from the London School of Economics. Additionally, according to that report, Saaniya graduated from the Worldwide Veterinary Service in late 2024 with a diploma as a Veterinary Technician.

In addition, Saaniya Chandok appears to be a close friend of Sara Tendulkar, with whom she has a long-standing acquaintance. Actually, Sara Tendulkar frequently shares photos of the two of them together.

Despite rumours of his engagement, Arjun Tendulkar is still establishing himself as a cricket player and carrying on his father's amazing legacy.
