The persistent suspicions regarding his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma and the accusations of adultery that have surrounded their split have now been addressed by Yuzvendra Chahal. For those who don't know, Dhanashree, a current Rise and Fall reality show contestant, said in a conversation with Kubbra Sait that she discovered Chahal had cheated on her only two months after their wedding. Now Chahal has spoken up about it.

The famous cricketer responded to Dhanashree Verma's accusation that she discovered her ex-husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, cheating on her in the second month of their marriage in an interview with Hindustan Times, which was published a week later. He claimed that although Dhanashree continues to try to use his name to get attention, he has already moved on.

Yuzi calls his ex-wife’s allegations baseless and exhausting. “I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mei hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too,” he says.

He added, "Hamari shaadi 4.5 years ki thi. Agar two months mein cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Main pehle bhi bol chuka hoon ki main past se nikal chuka hoon. But some people are still stuck there. Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain, abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected. And I have a feeling this is the last time I am addressing that chapter of my life."

Chahal made it clear that he is done addressing questions about his previous relationship. “Mai iss chapter ko bhula chuka hun. Koi kuch bhi keh deta hai, and social media pe chal jata hai. 100 baatein chalti hain, but the truth is only one, and those who matter, know it. Mere liye chapter closed hai. I don’t want to address it ever again,” he told Hindustan Times.

He added that social media often spreads rumours without facts and that he prefers to stay away from unnecessary controversies.
