In the follow-up to the 2018 crime thriller Raid, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Indian Revenue Service Officer Amay Patnaik. Raj Kumar Gupta's 'Raid 2', which had a new antagonist and a new cast of performers, hit theatres on May 1. As the film gets ready to make a big splash at the box office and is expected to achieve another blockbuster, fans on social media are making predictions regarding its potential OTT release.
Raid 2 will be available for streaming on Netflix after its theatrical debut. The streaming behemoth has reportedly purchased the movie's digital rights. After the usual 60-day window after its theatrical debut, the criminal thriller is anticipated to make its over-the-top (OTT) debut in late June or early July 2025.

After its theatrical run concludes, the Devgn-led crime thriller is reportedly going to be accessible for online streaming. The digital rights to the film have been acquired by the streaming behemoth OTTPlay.com, and the film is expected to be released in late June or early July 2025. This ensures that the movie will hit theatres throughout the typical 60-day window. Most major Hindi releases have followed this approach regardless of the box office performance.
Raid 2, which was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, carries on the narrative of Amay Patnaik, an IRS officer portrayed by Ajay Devgn. The plot centres on Patnaik's 75th raid, in which he faces off against a formidable new foe—the dishonest and powerful politician Dada Manohar Bhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh. In a recent casting change, Vaani Kapoor takes Ileana D'Cruz's place as Amay's wife, Malini Patnaik. Saurabh Shukla, who played Rameshwar Singh in the first movie, also appears in this one.
Raid 2 is a Panorama Studios production, presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.
