The Telangana police detained Allu Arjun, the star of Pushpa 2, on Friday afternoon. In relation to the Hyderabad Stampede incident, the actor was placed under arrest. The death of a woman named Revathi as a result of the stampede rocked the country. In response to the actor's arrest, the woman's husband now wishes to drop the complaint.
There has been another development in the turmoil surrounding Allu Arjun's arrest in relation to a fan's death at the Pushpa 2: The Rule launch. Revathi, the deceased woman's husband, has recently stated that he is prepared to drop the complaint and does not blame Allu Arjun for the stampede or his wife's passing.
Revathi's husband said in a video that he learned that Allu Arjun had been taken into custody in connection with the stampede case. He adds that on that particular day, he was present in the Sandhya theatre. The husband of the victim then declares that he is prepared to drop the case.
Big twist in Allu Arjun's arrest:
While talking to the reporters Revathi's husband Bhaskar said, "We only went to Sandhya Theatre that day because my son wanted to watch the movie. It's not Allu Arjun's fault that he visited the theatre that day. I am ready to withdraw my case. Police didn't inform me of his arrest, I watched it on the news at the hospital. He (Arjun) has nothing to do with stampede."
“I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of the arrest and Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede in which my wife passed away”, says Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar.#WeStandWithAlluArjun #AlluArjunArrest

Bhaskar's complaint, incidentally, was the reason Allu Arjun was taken into custody. Allu Arjun was taken into jail by Hyderabad Police officers who visited his home in Jubilee Hills on Friday morning. According to the authorities, he was taken to the police station to be questioned. Before appearing in court, the actor was subsequently brought to Osmania General Hospital for a medical examination.
Fans flocked to the Sandhya Theatre at the crowded RTC Crossroads on the evening of December 4 to catch a glimpse of the actor, who had come to see his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. A situation akin to a stampede occurred, resulting in the death of one lady and the serious hospitalization of her kid.
On the basis of the deceased's family's complaint, police said that a case was filed against the actor, his security detail, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Later on Friday, the High Court will consider Allu Arjun's appeal to have the FIR dismissed.
