The well-known singer finished as the first runner-up on Bigg Boss Marathi 5, despite being one of the strongest competitors. Suraj Chavan reportedly earned a whooshing Rs 14.6 lakh. However, it is a lot less than Abhijeet Sawant's salary. Yes, you have read that right!
Bigg Boss Marathi pay gap:
According to a report on the entertainment news website Koimoi, Bigg Boss Marathi 5 winner Suraj Chavan took home a cash reward of Rs 14.6 lakh. He even received a Rs. 10 lakh coupon for jewels. Suraj Chavan did, however, receive a smaller prize money than Abhijeet Sawant did from his tenure in the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house. The winner of Indian Idol reportedly received a weekly salary of almost Rs 3.5 lakh for participating in the reality show. He participated in Bigg Boss for the entire ten weeks, which helped him earn a significant sum of money. Even the second-place finisher made a significant salary during her time on Bigg Boss Marathi 5. It was said that she was paid almost Rs 3.75 lakh each week. She thereby made almost Rs 37.50 lakh over ten weeks.
In addition to Suraj Chavan, the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 top 5 also included Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Dhananjay Powar, and Ankita Walawalkar. Ankita took the money bag containing Rs 9 lakh and left the residence. The final race for the trophy was between Abhijeet, Suraj and Nikki.
