With his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, which is helmed by R. S. Prasanna, Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan is poised to astound moviegoers. Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, Simran Mangeshkar, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Aroush Datta, and Gopi Krishna Varma all play important parts in the movie. The movie, which will be released on June 20, will feature Aamir and Genelia Deshmukh sharing screen time.
Speaking at the ABP Live-hosted India@2047 Summit, Aamir Khan stated that he has always wanted to make the Mahabharat a reality, but acknowledged that it is difficult to do it. “Mahabharat will never let you down… but you might let Mahabharat down,” he said. He also confessed, "Yeh mera sapna hai ke main bana paun Mahabharat, lekin bohot mushkil sapna hai woh… (It is my dream to make the Mahabharat, but it’s a very difficult dream…)."

Khan stated that he is most inspired by the persona of Lord Krishna when asked which role he would like to play. Aamir went on to say, “Actually… mujhe Krishna ka kirdaar bahot hi prabhavit karta hai… I’m very inspired by him. So that’s a character I really love (I find the character of Krishna deeply impactful. So that’s a character I really love.) Kyunki yeh bahot bada project hai, toh main kuch badi cheezein bolna nahi chah raha hoon (Since this is such a big project, I don’t want to say anything major right now)."
Aamir Khan is reportedly producing a high-end movie based on the Mahabharat. The movie's cast has not yet been decided. Khan stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the dream project's construction will start in 2025. Until then, fans cannot wait to see his upcoming movie Sitaare Zameen Par.
