BREAKING! Govinda Breaks Silence on Reports Claiming Divorce With Wife Sunita

The news of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's divorce shocked everyone today. It all began with a since-deleted post to multiple media outlets claiming that the couple was having marital problems. The couple has reportedly been living apart for a while and is about to finalize their divorce. The reports have not been verified by the actor or his spouse. 

When asked about the divorce rumours, Govinda finally spoke out. He told ETimes, "There are only business talks going. I am in the process of starting my films." A family source also told the portal, "Sunita apparently had sent a separation notice a few months ago but there has been no movement since then."

In response to rumours of his divorce, Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha informed IANS, "Yes, Sunita has sent a legal notice in the court. I know that. However, there is no hard evidence of what it is. We have not yet received the legal notice. The news is currently being disseminated everywhere. Thus, we're monitoring it." 

Trouble in Paradise for Govinda and Sunita?

Sunita recently disclosed in an interview that she no longer shares Govinda's home. This was further corroborated by the manager, who said that although Sunita resides in an apartment across the street and Govinda spends the majority of his time at the bungalow, the actor is still interested in taking care of Sunita and his family.

Talking with Hindi Rush Sunita revealed, "We have two houses; we have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat, and he gets late after his meetings. He loves talking, so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Whereas I, my son, and my daughter live together, but we hardly talk because I feel if you end up wasting your energy by talking too much."

Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja are the couple's two children. Govinda and Sunita were married on March 11, 1987. Yashvardhan was born in 1997, while Tina was born in 1989. The 2015 romantic comedy Second Hand Husband, Tina's only Bollywood movie, was a box office failure. Yashvardhan's acting career will shortly begin.
