Detective Sherdil Trailer: Diljit Dosanjh Stars in Mysterious Thriller, Fans Dub It "Desi Knives Out"

Audiences have been buzzing about Detective Sherdil, starring Diljit Dosanjh, since the trailer was released on Tuesday. In a break from his typical on-screen image, Diljit will be seen embracing his inner Sherlock Holmes in this Ravi Chhabria-directed film. The movie offers a distinctive fusion of dark humour, wit, and intrigue.

The Hindi film appears to be a combination of a dysfunctional family with many secrets, an eccentric billionaire's strange death, and a detective who adds his own unique charm, humour, and eccentricities. The suspenseful streets of Budapest provide the setting for the whodunit. Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, Sumeet Vyas, Banita Sandhu, and Kashmira Irani are among the film's outstanding cast members.
