Emma Stone avoids making the awards dressing too complicated. The star followed her trend of wearing simple clothing at the BAFTAs 2026 in London last night, sporting an outfit that was reminiscent of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's style. Since receiving nominations for her role in Yorgos Lanthimos' "Bugonia," the 37-year-old star has been a fashion show favourite this season. Her most recent appearance in the black gown was a visual feast for both guests and fashionistas.

Stone, who was nominated for Best Actress for Bugonia, showed up wearing a couture Louis Vuitton gown made of navy blue silk crêpe that reduced evening attire to its most basic components. A fluid column skirt that caressed the body without clinging and a crisp, extended line through the bodice were features of the halter neck style. Stone's dress had an open back element that added to the subtle drama, and a bold keyhole cutout ran down the bodice. A flawless silhouette and the authority of a spotlessly clean fabric were all that was present—no decorations, no stitching, no dramatic patterns.

Emma Stone at BAFTA:

The shape of the solid black gown was figure-hugging and sleek. It dropped directly to the ground and stretched into a faint train that followed her along the red carpet. The dramatic neckline and crisp tailoring were the main features of the minimalist design. Stone accessorised the ensemble with black Jimmy Choo Minny Sandals, which were styled by long-time stylist Petra Flannery. The shoes featured a delicate ankle strap with a gold-toned buckle, a toe strap, and stiletto heels. Check out the comments of fans on the internet.

Stone wore another muted outfit to the Universal and Focus Features after-party at Oswald's following the ceremony. The actor changed from her floor-length gown to a short, boat-neck slip dress while sticking to the navy colour scheme. She topped it off with a silver brooch on the lapel of a matching wool coat. The last touches included the same red carpet sandals and a black purse with silver hardware.
