Due to the alleged use of "abusive language" during the show, a complaint has been filed in Mumbai against comedian Samay Raina, social media personality Apoorva Mukhija, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia of "Beer Biceps," and the show's organizers, India's Got Latent.
The 'filthy' question Allahbadia asked a contestant while he was a guest on Samay Rana's India's Got Latent has caused controversy. Strict action against the offenders named in the letter is required in the complaint, which has been submitted to the Maharashtra Women's Commission and the Mumbai Commissioner.
India's Got Latent to Shut Down?
Ranveer Allahbadia asked a participant on the show if they would join their parents and put an end to their lifelong sexual behaviour or watch them engage in it. His query didn't go over well online, even though it made the show laugh. Ranveer has received a lot of backlash when the video went viral online. One of Raina's show's episodes featured content creators Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, as well as the "Beer Biceps" podcaster.
Reporters also questioned Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the podcaster's comments. He said, "I have come to know about it. I have not seen it yet. Things have been said and presented in a wrong way. Everyone has freedom of speech but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others."
According to him, breaking the rules is "absolutely wrong" in Indian society, and those who do so should face consequences. Neither Ranveer Allahbadia nor any of the other episode makers have commented on the topic as of yet. Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Allahbadia the 'Disruptor of the Year' award during the National Creators Award ceremony at Delhi's Bharat Mandapam.
