The most recent rumour concerns a brawl between producer Asit Modi and Dilip Joshi, also known as Jethalal.

Rumours that Dilip Joshi and Asit Modi got into a furious brawl on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah became viral in entertainment news only yesterday. Dilip Joshi is accused of grasping Asit Modi's collar during the altercation, which nearly descended into violence.

Rumours and conjectures regarding Dilip Joshi leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah quickly surfaced. The actor has already addressed all of the rumours, though. On the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he denied ever arguing with Asit Modi. 

Dilip Joshi clarified that all of the online rumours are unfounded, setting the record straight. He continued by saying that, given how long the program has delighted audiences, he finds it disheartening to witness such remarks. He said, "It’s disheartening to see negativity being spread about something that has brought so much joy to so many for so many years. Every time such rumours pop up, it feels like we’re constantly explaining that they are completely untrue. It’s tiring, and it’s frustrating because it’s not just about us—it’s about all the fans who love the show and get upset reading these things."
