The Oh My God series has consistently touched on important subjects while providing entertainment. While the second OMG film focused on societal awareness, the first film questioned blind faith. Fans now have a cause to rejoice once more. In the upcoming third movie, Akshay Kumar will formally reprise his beloved character.
'OMG 2' director Amit Rai has officially stated that Akshay Kumar will return to the franchise's third instalment. Rai was recently asked if the superstar would appear in "OMG 3" in an interview with ANI. "Vo to honge," he said with a self-assured smile, adding that Akshay's presence is assured because he is also producing the movie.
OMG 3 Sequel in Making:
The filmmaker also disclosed that the project is now in production and is anticipated to be released in theatres the following year. He said, “Uska next instalment to aayega jald hi lekin vo usse bada hoga jo aapne dekha hai… film pe kaam chala raha hai… It will be released next year."

Writing for OMG 3 has already begun, Rai continued, and the group plans to release it the following year. He promised that the story's next episode would be bigger and more significant than the ones that came before it. The filmmaker also examined Akshay's level of involvement in the production of OMG 2. Akshay was involved at every level, from explaining texts to other actors, recalling complete scenes only by hearing them, and offering original ideas.
In the second OMG movie, Akshay portrayed Lord Shiva's messenger, assisting Pankaj Tripathi's character in a court case about sex education. The film was praised for its skilful blending of humour, drama, and social satire. Supporters hope the third film will portray an even more ambitious tale.
Although the creators have not yet revealed any narrative elements, Rai's assurance of an even more spectacular experience has increased the level of excitement. Given that Akshay is both an actor and a producer, it is likely that the picture will be produced with the same commitment and care as previous ones.
