Timothee's victory over George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-hun, and Jesse Plemons to win the Best Actor prize in the Musical or Comedy category for Marty Supreme made the evening more unforgettable. Chalamet praised his parents and declared his love for Kylie as he accepted the prize at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
For the movie Marty Supreme, which is based on the life of American table tennis legend Marty Reisman, Timothee Chalamet received a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
