In the military action movie 120 Bahadur, which is based on the 1962 Indo-China war, actor Farhan Akhtar is slated to play Param Vir Chakra recipient Major Shaitan Singh, the producers announced on Wednesday. The actor has gone viral on social media for his new look in his next.

The planned film's creators claim that it is inspired by the Battle of Rezang La, in which soldiers from Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, demonstrated unmatched bravery, sacrifice, and heroism. Presenting 120 Bahadur is Excel Entertainment, led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan, in association with Trigger Happy Studios, led by Amit Chandra.

Excel Entertainment's Razneesh Ghai, best known for starring Kangana Ranaut in Dhaakad, will helm the film. Farhan had stated last week that he was filming a "special film" in Ladakh.
