In addition to Jitendra, other members of Panchayat include Sunita Rajwar, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Faisal Malik, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Durgesh Kumar, and Pankaj Jha. The protagonist of the series is an engineering graduate who works as a Panchayat secretary in the Uttar Pradesh village of Phulera. He is dissatisfied with his posting in a little village with a run-down office and finds himself in a completely different environment.
