Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun starrer REJECTED Triptii Dimri for a BIG role?

Triptii Dimri has been signing incredible films back-to-back. The actress is eager for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, her second film, to be released in 2024. Fans are eager to watch their favourite on the big screen once more after seeing the teaser for the same film a few days ago. According to an intriguing tidbit of information, the actress lost her role in Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule. Yes, you have read that right!

Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri were supposed to be co-stars in Pushpa 2. Tripti was considered for a role. The actress and the film's creators were in discussions over a unique dance routine for the action thriller. The Qala star had even tried out for the role, as Times Now reported. However, things didn't turn out well for her.

Pushpa 2 makers rejected Triptii Dimri?

A source revealed, "The makers auditioned Triptii Dimri but rejected her, It remains unknown why Triptii was turned down." Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu performed the special dance number O Antava with Allu Arjun in Pushpa: The Rise. It was a song at the top of the charts in 2021. Samantha's stunning appearance and flawless movements charmed people over.

Regarding Triptii Dimri, she will feature in the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Rajkummar Rao. The film, which is helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 11, 2024. It's a romantic comedy with a 1990s setting. Triptii first appeared in Bad Newz prior to VVKWWV. She starred in the film, which was directed by Anand Tiwari, with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.

Triptii made waves with her performance in Animal last year. Following the release of the Ranbir Kapoor film, she was also dubbed Bhabhi 2. And the national crush by many. Laila Majnu, Triptii's 2018 film, also returned to theatres this year. The film, which also starred Avinash Tiwary, was well-received and did well at the box office.

Talking about Pushpa 2, the film starring Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun was scheduled to be released on August 15, 2024. But the Sukumar-directed film's filming is still ongoing. It won't be released in theatres on December 6, 2024, despite Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and others starring.
