On Wednesday, actor Riteish Deshmukh unveiled Raja Shivaji's first motion poster. Riteish plays the title character in the movie, which is based on the biography of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The first look of his masterpiece is shown in the first poster.

The story of young Shivaji Bhonsale, who would go on to battle empires and establish the Maratha state, would be told by Raja Shivaji. Shivaji Maharaj opposed the Mughals, who had gained dominance in India during his administration, and established the foundation for "Swarajya (ruled by one of our own)."

As a result, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the ferocious and fervent warrior, emerged. The spirit of the warrior we know and recognise is embodied in Raja Shivaji's initial appearance, when he is dressed in saffron (Kesari). We identify Shivaji Maharaj as holding a sword in each hand, covered in bruises, and allowing the saffron flag to overshadow him. For this, he deserves entire credit for conveying the message with only one image.

In addition to Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh would play a significant role in the film, which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, and Amole Gupte.
